Thomas Krasowski, the lead operator for IES Waterworks, holds five licenses for Water, Wastewater and Backflow and has been involved in public water and wastewater system operation for more than a decade. He has an understanding of public utilities first from his role as the Public Works Director with the City of Notus, and later as a City Councilman. As an operator he has over 500 hours of formal classroom training. This all-inclusive perspective provides Thomas with a unique understanding of the importance for compliance and protecting public health and a true understanding of small communities with their particular challenges. He has developed an excellent relationship with regulators including Southwest District Health, Idaho State and Boise Regional DEQ and EPA.
Seth Goertz, the treatment specialist for IES, has over two decades of hands on experience solving water quality issues with cost effective treatment solutions. Seth is licensed at the highest level available for the State of Idaho for public water system treatment.
IES Waterworks is involved with the operation of approximately 30 public water and wastewater systems in Idaho, from the Army Corps of Engineers to Zoroco Packaging. IES has a collective team operating experience of over 50 years, with most of our responsible charge operation being done at small public water and wastewater systems serving from 22 homes to 2200 people.
We are proud members of the American Waterworks Association (AWWA) & Southwest Idaho Operators Section (SWIOS).
